Job Description

We are seeking a TalentDirector to source, hire and on board, improve/create and implement the talent management infrastructure, framework, and strategies which support our firm. In this role, you will be part of our leadership team. You will develop programs as well as, identify and recommend opportunities to improve and align supporting systems which integrate our approach to talent management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and manage employee development programs that align with companys purpose and strategy; including, but not limited to, professional development, mentorship and performance evaluation processes. Design and manage recruitment efforts and hiring processes; writes job descriptions and places job advertisements. Manage communication efforts to educate employees on company programs, resources, functions and events; oversees and delivers programming to enhance company culture. Provides consultation on strategic talent management issues such as assessment of hiring needs, organizational structure, etc. Coordinate with the company marketing programs; by providing consultation on company branding efforts. This will ensure brand messaging is consistent to all internal and external candidates.

Qualifications

Communication:
Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a team Intermediate ability to facilitate meetings, trainings and discussions Intermediate public speaking skills and ease communicating with large groups Intermediate proficiency in written communication

Management / Leadership:
Intermediate ability to work on a team Basic ability to oversee and coordinate a team Basic ability to engage and organize stakeholders and provide consultation to senior leadership Intermediate understanding of best practices in recruiting, hiring and on-boarding Intermediate ability to coordinate employee evaluation efforts and assist managers in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters Basic understanding of legal HR considerations

Process Design and Implementation:
Intermediate ability to translate over-arching strategic goals into an actionable plan Intermediate ability to evaluate programming and plan improvements Intermediate organization skills and ability to meet deadlines

Experience/Education:
At least seven years of experience in Human Resources. Bachelors degree in the field of Human Resources or related field preferred. SPHR/PHR certification preferred.
