The Human Resources Training Specialists will join HR’s Control and Oversight team, working with the various Regulatory initiatives as a critical member of the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of courses necessary to train the Firm’s 2,500+ HR professionals. Topics requiring content development include Risk & Control, You’re your Employee, Performance Management, Compensation, Staffing Adequacy, Recruiting and Employee Relations. Examples of training needs include, but are not limited to the following:

Performance management:
Objectives / Goals Setting / Training on guidelines and process for annual objective setting

Talent Reviews, Training on guidelines and process for annual talent review process

Promotion Review Process , Training on guidelines and process for annual promotion process

Year End Performance Management, Training on guidelines and process for risk and control feedback and year-end performance reviews

Regulated Staff - Training on guidelines for identifying and managing regulated employees (multiple populations)

Validation/ Back Testing, Annual refresher on guidelines and process - including any enhancements

Control Partners in Compensation, Annual refresher on roles & responsibilities and expectations - including any enhancements

Year-End Compensation Process - Regulated Staff- Training on new enhancements to Regulatory Screen in Comp Connect

HR Control Forum - Overview, Annual refresher on roles & responsibilities and process - including any enhancements

HR Control Forum - Pool Adjustments, Guidelines for targeted population overseeing year-end pool adjustments

Enhanced Review Process, Annual refresher on roles & responsibilities and process - including any enhancements

Hiring, Termination/ Separation Process, Annual refresher on roles & responsibilities and process - including any enhancements

Staffing Adequacy, SAF Reviews - Overview, Annual refresher on roles & responsibilities, dashboard production, process - including any enhancements

Recruiting, Anti-Corruption Policies and Procedures, Annual Compliance Training

Employee Relations:
HR Disciplinary Outcomes Training (including Suspicious Activity Reporting) , Training on the recommended outcomes for employee misconduct and escalation process for exceptions (including Suspicious Activity Reporting)

Code of Conduct Investigation Guidelines, Training on the new Code of Conduct Investigation Guidelines

AnswerKey Training, Training on tracking and reporting cases in AnswerKey

Partner with the initiative leaders to develop the overall strategy for the required training

Lead the teams in the development of the content to accomplish the training strategy

Partner with HR Communications and representatives from all HR teams to develop an appropriate calendar for the training.

Proactively partners with Line of Business Training Resources when delivering a class or workshop in the region or market

Accurately complete program evaluations, class rosters, training reports, expense reports, and other documentation in a timely manner

Prepares classroom and facilities pre/post class


Prefer 4-7 years experience in learning and development including 1-2 years of classroom instruction on HR topics

Prior hands-on experience developing content required

Equivalent experience as a manager and meeting facilitator may be considered

Demonstrates outstanding presentation, facilitation, oral and written communication skills

Demonstrates excellent coaching, relationship management and influence skills

Strong understanding and application of adult learning methodologies

Excellent time management/organizational skills, flexibility and adaptability to meet multiple priorities, critical deadlines, and shifting client training needs

Proficient PC skills, Microsoft Office Suite

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience with emphasis in communication, education or other training-related field

Prior management experience preferred

Minimal travel required
