Position responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of the HRIS system and its modules. Ensures the data integrity in the HR/Payroll System. Writes, produces and documents accurate, valid and efficient reports using the Human Resources database.

Responsibilities
· Demonstrates a thorough understanding of data fields and modules and how they operate and interact
·
Provides all system support for HRIS Payroll, Self Service and Time System by preforming all system related tasks revolving around the payroll processings. This includes but is not limited to all interfaces into the system and reports out of the system.

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of data elements, screens and modules within the HRIS and Time systems
·
Provides assessments to HRIS/Payroll Manager of any problem with data fields, information requests, reports or downloads
·
Demonstrates a thorough and complete knowledge of system and data fields, identifies areas in need of improvement within the system to HRIS/Payroll Manager, suggests and implements procedures which would improve or maintain a high level of system and data integrity and security

Demonstrates data entry and system knowledge base which would enable this position to provide back up support for the HRIS Coordinator duties

Ensures the appropriate documentation exists for any change or update to the system
·
Responsible for tracking, reporting and administering all vacation and health and welfare programs in the HRIS system for the company including Union contracts.

Develop, recommend and implement procedures for reviewing all reports requested, including but not limited to analyzing the request to determine in an existing production report will or can be modified to provide the needed data. If data is not available on an existing production report, all reports must be thoroughly mapped prior to programming

Maintains and publishes up-to-date documentation on all reports, production and ad-hoc, generated by HR from the HRIS system.

Develops and uses Access database for reporting
·
Interfaces effectively with users of HR data by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the system, its applications and responding with accurate, timely and cost effective information in a format required to meet business needs

Actively participates in problem solving and recommending solutions for all HRIS systems
Requirements
· BS in computer science or equivalent business experience
·
3-5 years experience with HRIS systems, Ceridian experience preferred
·
Report writing using Crystal package and MS Access
·
Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
