Responsible for the maintenance, and daily administration of computerized and manual records for human resources information systems (HRIS). Ensures that PeopleSoft is maintained with accurate, up-to-date information, and that interfaces are working according to specifications. Implement and maintain security access, all tables and panels, development and maintenance of all reports through query/crystal reporting. Generate bi-weekly and monthly payrolls using PeopleSoft Payroll Interface. Develop and maintain a regular audit schedule and execute audits monthly and throughout the year verifying the integrity of the data in all HR systems and databases. Act as subject matter expert to the field for data entry, system and data interaction and process improvement. Create, generate and schedule standard and ad hoc reports for HR usage. Provides support for SilkRoad, Open Hire and Red Carpet modules. Participates in the recommendation, design, testing, and impact analysis of all changes to HR system. Responsible for thorough testing of new functionality. Assess and assign user security and permission lists for the system and adjunct reporting tools. Continuously strive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and tools and looks for alternatives that better meet business needs. Works closely with users to discuss and design strategies that serve to enhance usability and understanding of system. Meets with users to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement programs to meet special and on going needs of humans resources information.
Thorough knowledge of formal principles and practices in human resources as applied to human resources information systems. Thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0, including Payroll Interface, Benefits Administration, eProfile and eBenefits. Demonstrated ability to use a variety of query, reporting, spreadsheet, and database tools effectively to produce routine and complex outputs for users. Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure. Good communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable lay terms. Excellent analytical skills including the ability to compile, review, and determine logical conclusions or recommendations based on data and information that is varied in content and format.
Education: College degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems or related discipline required. Equivalent experience in a corporate human resources department may be considered in lieu of a degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum three-five years experience (in addition to that listed above) PeopleSoft experience, including Payroll Interface and Benefits Administration.
