Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for working with Human Resource-related software programs (including ERP, applicant tracking, learning management, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office Products to meet HR software/data/reporting needs. Work with IT to develop software customizations and evaluate and test new functionality and interfaces. Develop reports for end users for all HR-related applications. Design workforce analytic models to support business decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Partner with the HR business units to understand and prioritize information needs, and translate business requirements into systems solutions

Act as HR project manager for standard implementations, conversions, upgrades

Assist manager in project management of complex implementations and conversions

Streamline and improve current HR processes utilizing current technology. Recommend best practices and/or customizations to HR application

Evaluate / test new software and new functions of existing software

Evaluate options to identify best solution for solving customer problem/meeting customer needs

Assist in evaluating HR software upgrades/purchases/integrations

Work with IT to develop and test interfaces with other systems and/or vendors

Develop reports for end users for all HR-related applications

Document design and use of products and processes; and train end-users on use

Maintain working knowledge of all HR areas (e.g., Benefits, Talent & Development, Training, Compensation) to understand HR software/data/reporting needs

Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

3-5 years experience in implementing and/or maintaining applications

Strong understanding of database design, structure, functions and report writing skills

Strong PC skills with concentrated abilities using databases and spreadsheets

Knowledge of reporting application (e.g., Crystal Reports)

Demonstrated customer service with strong verbal and written communications skills

Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
