Actavis Inc, a global pharmaceuticals company, is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst in Parsippany, NJ.

Summary:
Under general supervision, assists in the development and management of the

Company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) functions in creating and maintaining

positions, organization units, and the utilization and production of organization charts and

summary reports.

Essential Job Functions

:

Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures,

and state, federal and local laws.

·

Responsible for creating, executing and distributing reports for internal or external clients.

·

Create and maintains organizational units and organizational charts in the HRIS System.

·

Responsible for the development and maintenance of position creation and development.

·

Resolves Human Resources data processing issues in conjunction with HRIS, Benefits,

Payroll and other HR Users.

·

Assists in the monitoring of HRIS system and all interfaces to ensure proper functionality and assists in determining inbound and outbound specifications.

·

Responsible for batch uploading of compensation administration files such as bonuses, merit review and stock options.

·

Responsible for audit of HRIS data, including changes as a result of audit process.

·

Assists in the system administration of annual merit compensation, incentive bonus plan and stock option grants.

·

Maintains systems to ensure efficient operations, processing and report generation.

·

Assists in training of department and organizational staff on system access and

utilization.

·

Implements appropriate change controls, historical tracking system, administration

procedures, and documentation database for projects as directed.

·

Participates in internal and external meetings relating to projects as directed; provides

summaries of meetings to team; makes recommendations as appropriate; assures

effective communications to all team members

·

Prepares project and other analytical reports; provides summaries, presentations and recommendations throughout all phases of the project.

·

Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge of:
·

Human Resources, compensation and benefits administration principles and practices.

·

SAP systems applications knowledge.

·

Computer operations and software applications in a network environment, including

Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access.)

·

HRIS systems and report writing query tools.

·

Project management planning and tracking practices, principles, tools and techniques.

·

English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Skill in:
·

Implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective

management of allocated resources and human resources information.

·

Developing databases.

·

Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

·

Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.

·

Implementing project management concepts and principles.

·

Managing multiple projects; defining problems, collecting data, drawing valid conclusions;

recommending methods, procedures and techniques for resolution.

·

Maintain confidentiality of data.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited college or

university, and three (3) to five (5) years experience in human resources, with an emphasis in HRIS, preferably with SAP and Compensation and Benefits; or an equivalent combination of

education and experience.
