We are a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced electronic systems, products, and services to commercial, defense and space industries.This position is located in Minneapolis, MN, no relocation is offered.Selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining HS&E programs to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements (federal, state, local) and ensures the protection of our employees, assets and community at large. This position will support the Aerospace Minneapolis operation at it three locations: Stinson/Ridgway in NE Minneapolis, Golden Valley and Coon Rapids.

This position reports directly to the Aerospace Minneapolis HSE Manager.Responsibilities: Responsible for the development/ implementation/ administration of HS&E activities.Performs industrial hygienist requirements; evaluates environmental factors in chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic areas.Responsible for completing job hazard analysis and PPE assessments.Stimulates and maintains employee awareness in health safety programs by showing films, distributing posters, handout booklets, safety bulletins, and other training aids.Provides leadership to the location Safety Committee and participates in all related functions.Reviews/designs/develops supplements to all HSE policies and procedures.Reviews and approves all appropriation requests for safety and environmental adherence (equipment, material, etc.)Ensures that emergency plans are adequately publicized to minimize reaction time to emergencies.Oversees and/or conducts safety and/or environmental related audits -- monthly, quarterly, annually.Performs all other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications: For Export Compliance, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.Bachelor's degree in safety/environmental or a related field.3+ years of safety experience.Additional Qualifications: Master’s degree in safety/environmental a plus.Extensive knowledge in applicable health, safety, environment and ergonomic regulations required.Self-motivated with ability to communicate and implement various HS&E processes at all levels of the organization.Ability to recognize strategic opportunities and focus HS&E resources to align with and meet critical business needs.Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.Six sigma green belt or higher certification.Apply online at using the "Visit Website/Apply Online" link above- Enter Job #00207198As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Honeywell is committed to a diverse workforce.Interested in Honeywell but this isn’t the right job for you?
