BOS is currently seeking a qualified HSE Manager for our North Dakota and Rockies District. This position will be located in Mandan, North Dakota with extensive travel throughout the district.
The Health, Safety & Environment Manager is a resource to District management and all employees. This person will ensure that the HSE Management System is in effect, followed at all levels of District operations and helps all employees at the location to achieve HSE compliance. This position reports directly to the HSE Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
> Provides leadership, direction, training and oversight to the District team and to all District operations.
> Be a mentor/coach for all HSE needs within the company and at the District field locations.
> Ensure the HSE policy is implemented and followed through the District operations.
> Assist in setting and achieving HSE Objectives.
> Assist HSE Director in upkeep of the company risk registry
> Oversee the District HSE training matrix
> Assist District in training, implementing and overseeing Risk Assessment and MOC process
> Conduct HSE inspections
> Assist HSE Director in keeping the HSE budget within requirements
> Accidents/incidents reporting and investigation.
> Ensure compliance with all country regulations.
> Conduct performance reviews against HSE Objectives for the District.
> Conduct audits, assessments and reviews.
> At least 5 years of experience in the field of health, safety and environment. Oilfield operations and/or oilfield services experience is required – candidates without oilfield experience will not be considered.
> Technology Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or have related professional designation such as OHST, ASP, or CSP.
> Completion of OSHA 30 hour, OSHA 501 an asset.
> Excellent skills in written and oral English communication.
> Valid driver’s license with relatively clean driving record and willingness to travel
> Computer skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
