This position reports to the Director of Employee and Labor Relations. Position is responsible for managing a comprehensive human resource program for the Education & General and Auxiliary area of the University of Florida which includes nine (9) academic colleges. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing guidance on employee relations and other personnel related issues for faculty and staff, coaching supervisors, conducting investigations, and managing layoffs. This position also manages Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment Compensation, and the CDL Drug Testing Program. Additionally, this position provides direct supervision to one Sr. HR Representative and two HR Representatives. Incumbent will assist the Director with union negotiations, and faculty labor relations.

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.
