Toys"R"Us, Inc. is currently seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our Human Resources team at the distribution center in Lee's Summit, MO. The internship will last until December 31, 2012. The hours/days will be flexible in order to work around school schedules.
Description of duties and tasks:
This role will provide Human Resources support in various functional areas of human resources, including:
Recruitment tasks such as reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating the pre-employment background check process.
Pre-screen applicants and assist hiring manager with scheduling if needed
Facilitate employee on-boarding process
Conduct new hire orientation
Process new hire paperwork
Assist with set up and maintain personnel files
Assist the HR team with basic data and filing
Assist team members with general inquires regarding company policies and procedures
Conduct exit interviews
Qualifications
