The HUMINT Training-Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE) trains U.S. Military and U.S. Government personnel in basic and advanced HUMINT collection operations based on DoD requirements. Raytheon employees will serve as a Principal Training and Development Instructors at the HT-JCOE, East Campus in Norfolk, VA. Utilizing various forums such as formal platform training, workshops, and field training exercises, instructors will train US military personnel and other Department of Defense (DoD) and federal government agency personnel in advanced source operations and techniques with an emphasis on collection activities. Instructors will

identify the best approaches to training to include, but not limited to course assessment, examinations, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive training and testing, performance-based assessment and performance, team and unit assessment and measurement

and serve as a mentor and grader alongside active duty military and DoD instructors. Instructor staff will also participate and conduct practical work and instruction, while d

eveloping and maintaining knowledge bases, conducting applied advanced research methodologies

, preparing all training material such as, but not limited to, course outlines, course manuals, lesson plans, exams, background materials, workbooks, handouts, study guides, training aids, performance reports and class records.

aintain currency in the area of expertise and is expected to function as an subject matter expert (SME) in the HUMINT specialty field.

Required Skills:
Must possess a current TS-SCI clearance

Honorably served in a military or civilian capacity

Possess a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in source operations

Candidate must be a graduate of any one of the following: AMSOC, ASOC, FTC, ASOT Level III, MOTC or AFCIO

Must be in good physical condition capable of walking over varying terrain in urban and rural environments, endure field conditions including possible overnight field assisgnments

TDY travel may constitute up to 25% of time

Must be willing to work overtime and irregular hours

Maintain a valid driver's license and maintain military installation driving privileges.

Desired Skills:
Candidate be a graduate of a DoD basic instructor course or U.S. government equivalent

Candidate be a graduate of the Defense HUMINT Overt Strategic Operations Course (DOSOC)


Required Education:
A Bachelors Degree is required for this position or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
