Serves as a liaison between the branch, the field and HVAC contractors; provides service to contractors in terms of product knowledge, price quoting, and delivery; follows up on all bid projects, keeping other sales team members aware of status; maintains record of market for competitive situations, alerting other sales team members of the same; advises Account Managers of pertinent credit situations and other sales/account information needed; maintains a consistent call schedule and prospects new accounts to determine sales opportunities; responsible for calling customers on a regular basis to increase sales; processing customer orders via phone and in-person; and assisting with any and all customer concerns including billing issues.
HS diploma, college degree preferred; previous sales distribution experience or completion of a sales/customer service trainee program highly desired; strong communication skills and customer service focus; must have positive attitude and be a team player; and basic PC knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Email, Internet); knowledge of HVAC equipment and supplies and products and the distribution industry is a strong plus. The qualified candidate must be a high-energy, self-starter with a strong work ethic. This individual will need to be motivated by a competitive industry and be results, detail and team-oriented. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must possess excellent organizational skills.
