Great Opportunity for a Video & Software Associate Product Manager (posted March 28, 2013) in Salem, Oregon. Gaming Hospitality Executive has been retained to assist a company identify a candidate who has experience in leading the development of systems, products and product enhancements from both a business and technical requirements perspective.Job description for the position of Video & Software Associate Product Manager Track the status of all games in the development and provide weekly reports to management. Weekly reports to include the following: summary of where the games are in the development highlighting any games that are experiencing delays or issues. Summary of games in Product Assurance. Summary of games that are in submission. Track the status of new technology such as new models, hardware and software enhancements. Will follow up with the checklist of items that must be accomplished including pricing, introduction strategy with marketing, Sales and Management, production readiness and sales awareness. Will work with to establish pricing, top award odds and jurisdictional requirements of games entering the development queue. Will work with development to ensure a regular roll out on new games. Will work Director of Product Management in organizing the regular flow of games into the market. The objective is to give sales a balanced portfolio of games to promote. Responsible for organizing bi-monthly meetings with sales to present new products to promote. Using research or other business knowledge, develop presentations that could be delivered independently or integrated into larger organizational presentations. Deliver presentations to small and large groups. Through retail visits and field ride-alongs, assess product presence in retail locations. Determine product opportunities, strengths, weaknesses and threats. Based upon industry knowledge, develop concepts and plans to overcome barriers and strengthen product market presence. Report on sales and profitability. Recommend adjustments. Assist with product analysis, including analysis on the effectiveness of new product launches and enhancements. Coordinate product-specific market research projects.
The Following qualifications are required for the Video & Software Associate Product Manager position. A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Product Management, Computer Science, or Engineering, or a closely related field And three (3) years of professional level product management experience focused on product execution; OR Six (6) years of professional level product management experience with three (3) of those years focused on product execution. Related experience must include technology, such as systems, game or software technologies that relate to the development and implementation of products or services. Experience must also include presentation and implementation of marketing plans, developing and delivering oral presentations to diverse groups of people, and leading project teams or managing staff.
