The HVAC Mechanical Engineer will design, implement and oversee the
installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air
conditioning systems. Work with engineering firms to design systems for
maintenance retrofit to existing HVAC systems. Obtain engineered
drawings and permits for in-house renewal projects.
Mechanical Engineer designs or oversees the design of HVAC systems to
meet specifications and coordinating budgets. This person will create or

Education & Experience:
•BS in Mechanical Engineering
•EIT License required (PE license preferred)
•5 - 10 years experience
•Excellent engineering judgment to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
•Experience with HVAC systems for institutional environments
•Additional experience in utilities including water, steam and plumbing systems
performing testing on information technology equipment, HVAC equipment,
institutional machinery, laboratory equipment
•Prior project management experience is a plus
•Proficiency in technical writing and comprehensive documentation
•Working knowledge of AutoCAD, VISIO & Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
•Hands on experience with building automation control is preferred
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
