Hail Operations Specialist

Reporting to the Vice President of Hail Operations and the SWAT Regional Hail Manager, the Hail Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting Regional Hail Managers in obtaining business and starting/maintaining repair facilities and insurance drive-ins and DRP’s to meet company and customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Consistently and efficiently write appropriate PDR/Conventional hail appraisals
Appropriately input PDR/Conventional appraisals on manual scope sheets or automated estimating system (CCC One)
Work with Lead Tech and PDR technicians for successful operation of retail location(s) with quality estimates
Effectively follow appropriate protocol in writing supplements and getting approval to expediently continue the repair process
Initiate customer PDR interest at repair/appraisal site to help close sale
Performing insurance company presentations at the local and or regional level
Successfully and consistently close hail PDR sales appropriately
Assist on Signing body shops / repair facilities to Dent Wizard Hail Service Agreements
Assist on sales calls to Insurance Companies

Assist in training business partners in hail storm duties
Assist District Managers, Sales Managers, Regional Hail Managers, and Technicians in providing training on insurance related issues
Attend and successfully complete all training modules for PDR appraising as provided by Dent Wizard
Conduct sales meetings at technician and manager meetings to better educate Dent Wizard personnel on storm management and insurance company issues

Aid in hail investigation and help to determine scope of hail storms
Assist RHM with overall operation of retail hail storm repair/appraisal sites as assigned
Assure appropriate expense management occurs in daily expenditures
Work at all assigned claims sites for the required extended hours on a daily or weekly basis
Assist and complete special projects as assigned or requested
Effectively communicate with repair facilities, customers and insurance partners in negotiating repair cost, associated claim matters and technical issues

Demonstrated ability to maintain positive customer relations experience.
Exceptional organization and communication skills.
Previous experience managing Employees
Prior hail estimating experience is preferred
Must have the ability to work independently with little direction managing both employees and contractors.
Must be willing to travel extensively during hail season. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand and walk throughout long work days.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Good vision to be able to accurately identify damage.
Ability to tolerate a variety of climates from winter cold to summer heat.
