Associate Safety Specialist – Harrisburg, PA

We are seeking several candidates in the Harrisburg area. These are full-time positions that report to a single location and will require occasional day travel:
  • Bachelors Degree and at least five (5) years of experience in safety related field
  • A safety certification (ASP, GSP, CSP) is preferred, however individuals who meet the Commonwealth of PA Accident & Illness Prevention Provider qualifications will be considered
  • Ability to manage projects and programs
  • Ability to plan and organize initiatives to meet predetermined target dates and deadlines
  • Ability to develop and write safety programs
  • Ability to perform technical research
  • Ability to effectively lead training or educational sessions
  • Strong assessment, project management, and verbal and written and communications skills
  • Ability to analyze injury data and produce meaningful reports and recommendations

Safety Specialist – Harrisburg, PA

We are seeking several candidates in the Harrisburg area. These are full-time positions that report to a single location and will require occasional day and overnight travel:
  • Bachelors Degree and at least three (3) years of experience in safety related field
  • Must be able to meet Commonwealth of PA Accident & Illness Prevention Provider qualifications
  • Ability to transfer safety knowledge to employees
  • Ability to effectively lead training or educational sessions
  • Ability to plan and organize multiple initiatives simultaneously to stay on target
  • Ability to develop and write safety programs
  • Ability to perform technical research
  • Ability to analyze injury data and produce meaningful reports and recommendations

Associate and Senior Safety Specialists – Harrisburg, PA

We are seeking candidates to work out of our Harrisburg, PA office. These positions will be responsible for conducting health and safety assessments and audits and will ensure health, safety and DOT compliance through the implementation of training and written programs at various clients. The ability to work independently with the flexibility to adapt to our clients’ needs are required. A B.S. degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, including project management and/or consulting experience is required. Other critical requirements include:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports, and present effective employee and supervisory training programs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HS&E client concerns
  • Continued commitment to self-development in H&S regulatory knowledge and technical expertise, including active participation in professional associations and continuous education
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner with internal team members
  • Flexibility and comfort working under tight deadlines with changing priorities
  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills and behaviors
  • Certification preferred but not required
