Head of Mobile Products – eBay Classifieds
The Head of Mobile Productswill develop and execute the company’s mobileroadmap, managing a medium sized team. The successful candidate is a strong online product leader with a demonstrated history of building and mentoring high performing teams, launching successful products, creating new revenue streams and having executive presence. This individual will interact closely with multiple functional areas within the company, including General (incountry) Management, Technology, Marketing, Finance and Sales/Account Management.
Prioritize & communicate the productroadmapthat incorporates the needs of our customers, emerging technologies, mobile and social media as appropriate
Work closely with senior leadership to define, assess and formulate opportunities and initiatives to driveoperating metric andrevenue growth
Deliver the roadmap forthe eBay Classifieds Groups serving markets in APAC, North America and Europe.
Lead the product management and mobile web teamof 6 as well as the direction for the app development pod of 8.
Seek continuous improvement in our agile product development process
Have strong Product intuition and judgment; ability to prioritize and make trade-offs
10-15 years of overall work experience with at least 3-5 years in product leadership roles (management team of a startup; divisional lead for product in a public company etc)
Demonstrated results in end to end (mobile) product management (vision, strategy, roadmap creation and execution)
Experience managing stakeholders across geographies.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment; manage ambiguity; work in matrixes organizations
Highly analytical with an ability to spur innovation and a deep desire to work in a team environment where people relationships are important.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to quickly establish credibility throughout the organization
Mobile product experience a strongplus
