Advertised Summary Job Description

LOCATION: Floater SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Saturday, 10pm - 630am Reports to supervisor, Building Services, the Head Cleaner is responsible for the planning, assignment, control and execution of custodial work whether standard duties or special assignments. Maintains communications with customer monitors job progress and conducts inspections. Adheres to standard system schedules and routines in the allocation of assignments to his/her crew following established methods and procedures and using correct equipment, material and supplies. Monitors and performs cleaning, dusting, wall washing, carpet shampooing, vacuuming, stripping, scrubbing, waxing and buffing of floors, rooms, offices and other interior spaces. Observes and reports all damage, malfunctions or deficiencies of Customer Service and reports problematic conditions, safety hazards or breaches of security to supervisor of others as appropriate. Requisitions and issues materialism supplies and equipment. Candidates must be physically fit to do extensive walking, stairclimbing, medium lifting and carrying and overhead work. Work schedule must include weekends.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

High school diploma or GED required. Ability to communicate and give verbal and written instructions in English. Ability to speak Spanish helpful. Five years experience as a Heavy Cleaner, previous leadership and training experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, good working knowledge of equipment and machinery operations. Must be able to work independently.
