Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach

Duties and Responsibilities: Bristol Community College seeks a highly motivated Head Tennis Coach to organize, coordinate and promote a highly skilled competitive coed tennis team. Identify and recruit academically sound potential athletes; prepare and submit an annual budget to the Athletic Director; prepare reports, inventory, and recommendations for equipment; maintain all necessary forms (eligibility, rosters, physical clearance, medical history, etc.); complete and maintain accurate individual and team performance records; plan, organize and implement teaching fundamentals, strategies and proper conditioning in the assigned sport; foster value of competition, teamwork and character; demonstrate support of the academic component of the college by conducting study hall and monitoring of progress reports.

SUPERVISION REQUIRED: Reports to the Athletic Director.

Requirements:
Required: Bachelor's Degree: Previous coaching experience, preferably at collegiate level; ability to deal with players on a personal level; strong communication skills; high level of teaching skills for individual and team development; also must demonstrate a high degree of ethics and professionalism and be a positive role model for all students.

Additional Information:
Position Status: Part-time, without benefits

Salary: $25.00/hr for a total of $4,000.00 per season.
