Head Nurse

Job Summary
  • Supervises activity of nursing staff performing tasks such as setting work schedules, assigning duties and hiring.
Job Accountabilities
  • Coordinates nursing activities in hospital unit.
  • Assigns specific duties to each member of nursing staff.
  • Evaluates nurses actions to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
  • Visits patients to check on assigned nurses work.
  • Prepares and maintains information kept on patients’ records.
  • Checks rooms and ward for health and safety issues.
  • Accompanies physicians on rounds.
  • Resolves complaints.
  • Trains and educates staff members.
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum Experience: 3 Years
  • Minimum Field of Expertise: Proper licensure
