Shopkick is seeking a stellar senior sales leader to join our Brand Partnerships team in New York. The Head of Brand Sales, East Coast will drive revenue for shopkick through brand marketing integrations for media and shopper marketing clients. This person will have, foster and grow client/agency relationships with the major CPGs, electronics manufacturers and other major verticals. This person must have a passion for great customer service and delivering results to clients that are on target and on time. He/She will work with the GM of Brand Partnerships to help drive demand for execution of advertising/marketing plans with Fortune 100 clients. This will be shopkick’s first East Coast based hire who is tasked with developing our presence and team in this crucial market.

All they need to do is walk into stores, and they earn points (like miles) that are called kicks, just for walking in. No purchase is necessary. In addition, shopkick shows users great products at stores, and rewards users for engaging with products at stores. It is based in Redwood City, founded by mobile and consumer experts, and funded with $20M (Series A and B) by Kleiner Perkins and Reid Hoffman/Greylock (founder and Chairman of LinkedIn, and Partner at Greylock).

Shopkick addresses the no. 1 issue of all physical retailers: driving foot traffic. Fast Company named shopkick one of the Top Ten Most Innovative Companies in Retail by Fast Company, along with Amazon.com, Apple and Starbucks. The Wall Street Journal ranked shopkick one of the Top 10 Apps among 500,000 on Apple’s App Store. Principle Responsibilities:
Evangelize the shopkick application and brand value proposition to the world’s largest marketers and their agency partners

Build and close a pipeline of campaigns and partnerships with fortune 500 marketers in the CPG, apparel, toys and electronics verticals

Develop strong creative proposals for brand customers

Meet and exceed revenue targets and other business health KPIs

Travel and visit brand partners and agencies to build/nurture relationships

Identify and Oversee account growth and relationships building for a defined territory

Interface with executives and day-to-day contacts at partner organizations

Hiring and staffing a regional sales office

Experience and Skills:
10+ years' work experience in media sales

Strong existing relationships with several large CPG, Apparel, Electronics brands

Excellent client management and communication/ interpersonal skills

Outstanding presentation skills, written and oral

Knowledge of new media/marketing channels, monetization models, business landscape

Must be self-starter, organized, detail oriented

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work well with Executive team

Experience and expertise in mobile or interactive technologies is a plus

Education Requirements:
BA/ BS in Business or related field required
