Job Details:
  • High School/GED
    Responsible for providing medical records to the physicians for completion. Responsible for maintaining
    the incomplete area in an efficient manner. (ie: deleting deficiencies, placing records on hold if needed,
    filing incomplete records,review completed charts, maintains MD vacation list.) Clears defiencies from
    CHRIS system. Assists all areas of the department, when necessary.


    1. Education:
    Minimum - High School or Equivalent.

    2. Experience:
    Required - Organizational skills. Operating a copy machine, fax machine, and P.C.
    Preferred - Previous experience in a health care facility, physician's office, or related experience working
    with filing systems.

    3. Training:
    Required - No previous training required.
    Preferred - Previous training in terminal digit, numeric, and/or alphabetical filing systems. Knowledge of
    medical terminology.

    4. Licensure:
    No licensure required.

    5. Other:
    Required - Basic administrative skills (filing, data entry, answering telephone)
    Preferred - Working knowledge of computer systems especially PCs and networked environments.
