Corporate Group Benefits is looking for an individual with strong healthcare claims analytical experience to join our team. This individual should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role will perform duties related to defining analytical requirements, performing very complex statistical, quantitative, and/or financial analyses, identifying trends, projecting experience, performing predictive modeling, documenting processes and results, and recommending solutions. This person should be able to present findings in a simplified and understandable manner in executive summary format for management review.
This individual will also identify opportunities for additional analyses, modeling, and research studies. This role will be responsible for analyzing opportunities to reduce healthcare expenses, improve team member and dependent health, and to maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance. This individual will primarily use the Thomson Reuters Medstat Decision Analyst claims database tool for these analyses, but will also utilize other data sources. The position will respond to requests for specific, customized reports and ad hoc analyses and ensure adherence to data management regulations and policies.
The position may provide guidance/mentorship to less experienced specialists and consultants, lead virtual teams, and partner with the Technology group. This position may also assist with financial projections, financial analyses, rate and contribution-setting, and other similar duties. Posted as Minneapolis location, but will consider other locations.
