The position will assist the sales team in the identification and
qualification of sales leads whereby a solutions architect will develop and
deliver on the final proposed solution. This role will also create the
Healthcare sales and delivery strategy for the team to execute. The candidate
in this position will integrate across the organization with Strategy leadership, Account Executives,
Regional Vice Presidents, Services and Technical Sales Specialists.
Accordingly the ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage
multiple large opportunities is critical.
A deep understanding of the clinical, operational and financial
challenges in healthcare, this role will be a
Business Development Executive that helps clients leverage technology
investment resulting in improved patient outcomes and enhanced business results
by partnering with clients to solve business problems, improve patient safety,
strengthen the revenue cycle, increase operational effectiveness, and enable
This role requires a strong
clinician or individual with significant healthcare experience and industry
knowledge, a solid understanding of clinical and operational needs, and
preferably experience in both strategic and implementation consulting. This
individual should posses the ability to call on senior business executives
(CEO, COO, CMO, CFO) and a proven track record in successfully managing and
closing complex service sales in large and enterprise accounts. An ideal
candidate will present with existing industry contacts or be able to build
these contacts through local organizations (i.e. HIMSS, CHIMES) and networking
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required. A Masters degree in Business, Marketing or Economics preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 percent of the time is required.
Additionally, qualified candidates are expected to have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Minimum of 8+ years working in the Healthcare Information Technology and Services market as an individual contributor sales role, sales management role and/or business development role.
Strategy and Sales:
- 8 to 10 years in direct Healthcare IT Strategy or Sales. - Complex deal experience that includes clinical healthcare IT deals that exceed $3 to 5 million in booking revenue - Evidence of multiple "presidents club" achievements.

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
