We are seeking experienced healthcare construction professionals who bring a variety of skills in the areas of design management, cost estimating, planning and construction management oversight to federal healthcare projects.
Specifically, we are creating construction management teams for ongoing federal healthcare projects Nationwide. Collectively, the team will provide day to day onsite design management, cost estimating and construction oversight. It is not expected that each professional will possess all of the skills, rather one team member may take design management , another estimating, etc.
Responsibilities: Team members are expected to be leaders during both the design and construction phase utilizing their years of experience to ensure success of the client's multiple ongoing projects that are in various phase of completion. Your experience must demonstrate your capability to provide; leadership, resolution of issues, effective oral and written communication, and technical acuity on healthcare projects. Team members will provide a broad level of support to the owner's staff including the following services: Design Reviews (Constructability, Regulatory, Technical) Construction Phase Cost Estimating in support of the owner's position for change orders Review AE Cost Estimates for design submissions: level of detail, accuracy, and consistent with local market conditions Conduct meetings and provide minutes during both design and construction phases Schedule Review and Management for both design and construction phases Conduct Construction Market Surveys (Mean and Methods, Labor, Material) Review Construction Phase Submittals Participate in VE Studies Prepare Progress Reports Quality Assurance Support
Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience Significant healthcare (Hospital and Clinic) construction management experience
The following qualifications are desired as part of the team. No one single team member requires all qualifications: Certifications and/or licenses such as PE, etc. are preferred Federal experience preferred; not required B.S. in engineering Campus civil and site work experience Mechanical and/or Electrical background Familiarity with CMAA Standards of Practice Experience conducting healthcare design document reviews Experience providing on-site construction management support on healthcare projects ASHE Membership
