Provides direction, guidance, and assistance on health care and business licensing matters to Concentra Health Services, Inc, a Humana Inc. company, and its affiliated entities. T
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seek and maintain company’s licenses, certificates and registrations relating to the operation of health care clinics in 40+ jurisdictions at the state, city, and local levels.
Ensure proper and timely completion of all licensing requirements, including the comprehensive research, preparation, and filling of license applications and renewals.
Interface with government regulators and agencies, produce documents, and prepare additional filings to ensure continued licensing compliance.
Supervise the tracking and monitoring of licenses, certificates and registrations and all supporting documentation.
Collaborate proactively with business units, operations and support services teams to resolve critical issues of shared interest.
Respond to questions from company personnel regarding licensing requirements.
Supervise the design, implementation, maintenance and constant improvement of processes, controls, systems, and policies applicable to licensing compliance.
Maintains current knowledge of legislative changes that affect requirements relating to licensing, certificates and registrations.
Perform other duties as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have strong regulatory compliance experience, superb analytic and communication skills, and a first-rate ability to prioritize. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in a healthcare licensing capacity.
Rigorous devotion to detail and ability to prioritize.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams both within and between organizations.
Excellent consultative skills with government regulators and agencies.
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
