Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in advanced earth moving concepts and
equipment applications. Must be able to interact in a positive and professional manner with
internal and external customers. Must possess advanced construction equipment operating
skills, knowledge of field applications, ability to diagnose application problems, and the
potential to deal successfully with new concepts and analytical requirements.
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with the technical staff, visitors and
customers
Desirable Qualifications
10 years experience in advanced earth moving concepts and equipment applications.
Able to set up and run machines with GPS, Accugrade, UTS, and Laser equipment.
Responsibilities
To perform engineering evaluations of various models of construction equipment or other
product lines, utilizing advanced operating skills and safe work practices.
To perform operational evaluations of major equipment systems including but not limited to
engine, transmission, final drive, hydraulics, electrical, etc.
Reads Safe Job Procedures, Standard Test Procedures, and work orders for directions and
safe operating practices.
Evaluate performance characteristics, serviceability, and safety aspects of all equipment.
Communicate through verbal and written reports with engineers, technical staff, visitors,
customers and other employees.
Maintain field test sites, roadways, and drainage
Travel is less than 25% for offsite demonstrations, test work, and required training
