This experience and highly technical position provides trouble analysis and resolution for Mainframes outages and production control Batch Job Failures. works closely with system programming groups to quickly identify and bring resolution to business critical problems.Recover and apply permanent fixes to Batch Job Failures. Monitor & ensure that the timely processing of 745,000+ jobs process through the automatic scheduler on weekly basis. Assigns, prioritizes and monitors work assignments. Provided Training to all department personnel. Respond to critical problems and exercising proper priority decision in its resolution.

Knowledge of IBM, Unix, AS/400, Tandem system software & subsystems, Experience with: Scheduling Software, Change Mgt. Software, IBM Utilities, JCL, Syncsort, FDR, DFDSS, HSM, EASYtrieve, REXX, CLIST, ISPF, Netview, and Faver.

Computer operations (COPS) Level 2 ISM Preferred

830am-715pm Mon-Thurs first month, may be required to move to night shift and work Fri, Sat, Sun following first month
