Help Desk Specialist
Location: Kansas City, MO
Job Description: Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (JPS) is seeking a qualified, experienced and motivated person for one of our federal government clients in the Kansas City, MO area. The responsibilities of this position include:
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Plan and accomplish goals, and perform a variety of complicated tasks including property management independently and without supervision.
- Ability to proficient use Microsoft Excel.
- Utilize excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Independently provide support to end us.ers on a variety of issues.
- Independently identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
- Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
- Document, track and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Answering and logging routine help desk calls from 7:00AM to 3:00PM Central Time and providing assistance to resolve them.
Education: High School Diploma required. College level degree and or certifications in a related field preferred.
- 1 year experience working Help Desk/Service Desk
- 1 year experience with SQL
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
