We have an opening for a Senior Help Desk Support Service Specialist for a U.S. Army Inspector General Agency contract in Washington, DC.
All assigned personnel shall be U.S. citizens with an active Secret clearance.
Minimum 7 years experience as Help Desk technician assisting users in resolving problems telephonically; minimum three years experience assembling, configuring, testing, and installing desktop, workstation, and LAN equipment-, mandatory experience with IBM compatible systems and Windows applications. This position requires a person who is an IA Technician II (IAT-II) with the required training and certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M– Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, dated 19 December 2005, Change 1, 15 May 2008 and the Army Information Assurance Best Business Practice (IA BBP) 05-PR-M-0002 INFORMATION ASSURANCE (IA) TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION, version 4.0 dated 28 Feb 06 and updated 26 Jul 10. This position requires a person to obtain a Computing Environment (CE) certification as a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
- Bachelor’s degree required in IT-related field or degree in unrelated field and work experience acceptable.
