Responsibilities:
Take help desk requests via phone, email or ticketing system and work efficiently to resolve end user issues.
Set up new equipment (desktop/laptop), installs software and repair hardware as needed
Manage Active Directory and Citrix user accounts (Adds, deletes, changes)
Ability to trouble shoot Citrix errors user related problems
Provide initial trouble shooting on printer hardware
Trouble shootand repair network connectivity issues ( VPN/wireless connections/local LAN )
Work with senior IT staff on projects and troubleshooting system/network problems
Respond timely to staff requests when resolving issues
Document changes within established parameters and escalate those which need higher level review
Ability to travel with little notice out of state
Be able to maintain and manage computer related inventory

Qualifications:
BS or equivalent experience
3-4 years previous help desk or technical support experience
Accuracy in performing detailed work
Ability to work in an Active Directory environment
Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 2007/2010
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and network routing required
Proven knowledge of Windows File Shares and NTFS permissions
Understand the concept of DFS and how that relates to an end user
Working knowledge of multi-site network configuration
Experience with automation in software and hardware deployment and management
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous time-sensitive issues
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Working knowledge of mobile devices to include Blackberry and Android OS
Be open to new technologies by taking the initiative and thinking outside of the box

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
