Position Description/Responsibilities (CCC/Vendor):

This position comes to us from our NY State contract for Hourly Based Information Technology Services and is located in Albany, NY. Albany is in the beautiful upstate region of NY, which is only a few hours from Boston, New York City, Montreal and the spectacular mountains of the Adirondacks. Augment AAS (Account Access Services) staff to perform day to day operations and short / long term AAS projects. Emphasis for this position will be MS Outlook Account administration
  • Provision Users in MS Exchange, session manager, mainframe, outlook, and other systems.
  • Delete Users
  • Triage user provisioning issues
  • Utilize Scripting to make provisioning more efficient
  • Utilize custom provisioning tools
  • Create AD/LDAP accounts
  • Grant file share permissions via Active Directory
  • Track work via Footprints ticketing system
Administer lotus Notes account creation and permissions

Position Requirements/Technical Skills (CCC/Vendor):

Mandatory Requirements:

Junior

Experience in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Programmer

12 – 36 Months

The following Requested (Desirable) Qualifications are not mandatory and candidates that do not fit all of the following, are still strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience working in User Account provisioning using AD and/or other tools
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience working with Numara Footprints ticketing system or other enterprise ticketing system
  • A+ or other related certification
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience administering NYSEMAIL or other large organization MS Outlook/Exchange accounts
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience working on a help desk and triaging/troubleshooting user access issues in a large organization setting
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience following written procedures to successfully close tickets
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience documenting procedures
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience with provisioning mainframe permissions
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience with provisioning Lotus Notes Accounts
