Fenwick Technologieshas a Charleston, WVclient thatis seeking qualified candidates for a Help Desk/Desk Side Support Technician. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

JOB PURPOSE: Provide end user support for desktop software, hardware and peripherals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Desktop support, network / application printing, network and application password changes.

Maintain accurate Ticket creation and resolution in company Help Desk System; accurate and appropriate ticket escalation to second level support as required.

Update Helpdesk knowledge base with proven resolutions.

End user prioritization and communication regarding problem resolution strategy and scheduled completion;

General Computer maintenance

Filing, Maintain Software / Hardware inventory

On call rotation with IT Operations Support team

Proactive approach to identifying operational improvements.

Understand/comply with QMS policy/procedures;

Understand/comply with EMS policy/procedures;

Adhere to safety policy/procedures.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Special project coordination assigned by management;

Flexibility in schedule to provide back coverage.

Cross train with and provide for other IT associates;

General housekeeping duties;

Overtime as required

Other duties as assigned.
