Help Desk Technician

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Complete PC setups
  • Troubleshoot Software and Hardware issues
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically
  • Perform account maintenance
  • Maintain equipment inventory
  • Maintain procedure manuals
  • Support Shoretel Phone System
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Excellent Communication, written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Weekend work may be required, but infrequent
  • Organizational Skills
  • Time management
  • Problem Solving
  • Microsoft Windows XP, Windows7
  • Microsoft Office 2007,2010
  • Active Directory
  • Citrix Xenapp
  • VMware View

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Preferred

  • Microsoft Server2003, 2008
  • Microsoft Exchange 2003,2007,2010
  • Toad
  • Crystal Reports
  • MOS, MCITP, MCTS, MCSA
  • SQL- Standard Query Language for databases
