Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, the Help Desk Technician will provide assistance to SRVS computer users. Identifies, researches, and resolves complex technical problems. The Help Desk Tech will work closely with professional staff to ensure that all user needs are met in a timely manner.
Two years experience that includes providing computer or network systems support, programming, systems analysis or data base administration. Related 4 year college degree or Microsoft Certifications in Workstation (Windows XP or later), Microsoft Server 2000 or later, and Microsoft Office certifications.
This job requires excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various levels of users, the ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks with little or no assistance. The Help Desk Tech must be able to work well in a team environment.
