Academic Technology Support/ Help Desk Technician to work in Independent School providing end-user support to faculty, staff, and students. Successful candidate will have experience working in a K-12 educational institution, supporting a wide-range of technology needs. Applicant must be a college graduate with a minimum of two yearsÂ’ experience in IT-related Help Desk activities in a school setting.
Work with teachers and students to provide consistent, user-friendly support in addressing technical issues (including c omputers, A/V solutions, and other technologies as needed). Responsibilities include taking walk-in, e-mail, and phone requests for support of general technology use d in classrooms, student/teacher tablet in the Intermediate School division and gene ral help desk support as needed. The technician is responsible for coordinat ing phone, email, and equipment resources a nd help requests from customers. The technician will also m onitor and inventory computer equipment, m aintain security patches and anti-virus software on desktop and laptop systems. The tech will p rovide additional support to other teams on n etworking issues and be actively involved in coordinating and testing automatic software patching and configuration tools .
