This worker will provide IT support - Helpdesk - to Conover plant employees and resources. Gather client and problem information, troubleshoot and resolve when possible, or escalate quickly and accurately when appropriate.
- Provide operational support and maximum uptime for plant related client Desktops, Laptops, Process PC's, NetPC's, Servers, Printers, network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Phone systems.
- Gather/Capture client and problem information
- Make use of technical skills, knowledge database and other IT resources to resolve problems and escalate problems appropriately
- Participate in team meetings, recommending customer service improvements
- Install/implement new or modified components as well as client application solutions
- Assist in the creation/maintenance of documentation.
- Support MS Access databases and labeling system
Resource might sometimes be asked to take off-hour calls and work over the weekend.
