Performance Improvement Nurse / Educator
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Educator who is enthusiastic, motivating and has excellent communication skills to join our exceptional Home Care team in Westwood.
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
Participates in the development, implementation, evaluation and redesign of an OASIS orientation program for all disciplines that is customer focused, competency based, quality outcome focused, and in compliance with all rules and regulations.
Assists with development and provides educational programs for direct care staff that will improve individual and group performance on OASIS / documentation.
Participates in orienting and ongoing educations of clinical staff and management data.
Assists in reviewing admission charts, visit notes, recertification and discharge documentation to identify learning needs to staff and to ensure compliance with agency and regulatory standard in relationship to OASIS.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently in a team oriented department and will be able to demonstrate responsibility for self direction. Candidates must be in possession of current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of Massachusetts. At least 2 years of acute care and home care experience is preferred.
