The Home Health RN provides quality care and coordinates home care to clients served by a Primary Care Team under the direction of the RN supervisor. The Home Health RN supervises and delegates to the Home Health LPN and Home Health Aide appropriately and coordinates with other team members, the physician, and clients.

***This is a Tuesday-Saturday Day or Evening shift covering the Southeast division of Las Vegas****

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for making certain the home care provided is compliant with State and Federal Regulations (documentation and delivered care).

Responsible to provide services that are congruent with the policies of FHS within the scope of professional nursing practice as defined within the Nurse Practice Act.

Strives to provide services to meet both internal and external customer's expectations, assumes individual responsibility for professional competence and professional nursing practice.

Assures that the services provided are efficient and of value, meeting the expectations of quality healthcare delivery within financial goals

Requirements

Requirements:
Current RN license in the State of Nevada required

High school diploma or GED required

CPR certification required

1+ years hands on nursing experience in acute hospital or home health setting, post graduation from nursing school

Willing to travel with in the Southeast region of Las Vegas for home visits

Must be able to work independently and has basic computer skills.

Ability to develop and implement plan of care based on assessment skills and demonstrates independent clinical and problem solving skills.

Good organizational verbal and written communications skills are required.

Valid Nevada Drivers license and maintain personal auto insurance coverage and have reliable transportation

Demonstrates key technical skills utilized in the day-to-day management of home health patients.

Knowledge of professional standards of care and laws and regulations applicable to home health services. Technically proficient in field of practices.

Preferred Assets:
Home health experience a plus

Bachelors degree is preferred

Basic knowledge of home health requirements is preferred.

Skilled at using both windows and non-windows based software.
