Your main tasks will include:
Provide visitors with a positive shopping experience by ensuring customer service standards are met or exceeded.
Ensure your area of responsibility provides visitors with a positive shopping experience by: looking through the eyes of the customer; establishing customer needs; sharing product benefits and information; ensuring the ease of shopping and instant gratification.
Maintain detailed working knowledge of product features and benefits and services and share this information with customers.
Maximize sales opportunities through the mechanical sales process and the IKEA Concept.
Proactively drive sales by: supporting all marketing and in-store activities; upselling, cross-sellling and add-on sales.
Follow up on customer orders and new customer calls in a timely manner.
Maximize efficiency within your area of responsibility without impacting levels of service to the customer or safety standards.
Contribute as a Sales Co-worker by achieving the KPI’s that have been identified for your role.
Demonstrate a good understanding of policies, routines and procedures.
Communicate to managers any customer’s issues/concerns that you cannot resolve.
6-12 months of related retail experience
Good customer service and communication skills both verbal and written
Experience in a sales, customer service or planning services environment
Advanced computer skills
Good mathematical ability
Good ability to problem solve
