Current State of Maine RN license
Valid Maine Driver's License required
Minimum 3 years experience required
This position is open only to current qualified RN staff within this department
Under the direction of the Homecare manager, oversees day to day provision of patient care provided by the nursing team. Provides supervision and direction for staff nurses and home health aides by serving as a role model, mentor, motivator and coach, demonstrating availability, approachability and high visibilty. Provides direct patient care approximately half of worked time. Accepts responsibility for 24-hour supervisory call rotation.
Must have either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or an RN license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact ( https://www.ncsbn.org/nlc.htm ). If RN licensure is from a compact state, must obtain a state of Maine RN license within 90 days of changing primary residency to Maine.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
3 years or more of clinical nursing experience required; two years of Home Health or Hospice experience preferred.
Proficient in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge in the practice of hospice and community health.
Communication and coaching skills.
Valid driver's license required.
