Provides hospital-based physician care to inpatients, as the physician-of-record, in place of the patients’ primary care provider until the patient is discharged and returned to the care of the primary care provider.
Job Qualifications: Education:
Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent. Residency completed in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Satisfactory completion of the Fundamentals of Critical Care Support course of the Society for Critical Care Medicine.
Experience:
Clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
Licensure/Certification:
Board certified in internal medicine or family practice. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state(s) of practice. Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff.
