Title: Hosting Enablement Director
Description: The Hosting Enablement Director is accountable for overall bookings and revenue growth in Hosting Solutions for their assigned sales channel(s). This position will work directly with sales leadership and sales executives with CenturyLink the third largest telecom in the United States and a global leader in Managed Services/ Hosting/ Cloud series.
This is a critical position with the primary goal of exceeding Hosting sales targets through the successful development and implementation of enablement programs, product offers and training. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to gain deep knowledge and understanding of the sales organizations they support and their target markets served.
Drive Hosting solution awareness across specific Sales Teams relative to Savvis’ Hosting solutions sets.
Insure skills, knowledge and sales readiness of assigned sales organizations.
Develop and manage educational and certification initiatives supporting hosting sales lifecycle.
Create programs to promote successful integration of hosting sales with current sales activities.
Leverage Product Marketing, Field Marketing and Technology Partners to develop and launch sales programs and promotions.
Collaborate with Hosting Product Organization to develop market specific offers, products and solution bundles.
Develop and maintain comprehensive Sales project plans.
Responsible for achieving hosting quotas as assigned to sales regions.
Serve as single point of contact for the sales and sales support organizations related to Hosting selling initiatives and go to market strategies.
Establish cohesive relationships with area Sales Leadership, Regional Sales Management and Sales reps.
Have a high level of energy as well as strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in creating new business models and uncovering untapped market potential.
Provide thought leadership and analytical understanding to important business decisions involving Hosting solution set.
Champion Hosting solutions throughout the company and work with relevant internal resources to drive revenue growth.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of business drivers and needs relating to Hosting product offering.
Possess complex project management skills and the ability to effectively manage Hosting sales by being a charismatic motivator and thought leader.
Responsible for updating management on progress and elevate any issues that need assistance with resolution.
BS/BA or equivalent required; MS/MBA a plus.
5+ years of related industry experience in a Hosting /solutions-selling environment.
5 + years of Direct Sales, Business Development or Channel related experience with complex IT managed services solutions.
Up to 50% of travel.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and out performing sales targets.
Excellent communication skills to include: verbal, written and presentation.
Energy, integrity, and strong work ethic.
Exceptional organizational skills for the coordination of deal activities and flawless execution of business plans.
