SUMMARY : The Administrative Assistant performs the administrative and clerical functions to ensure the functionality of the Hotel Sales Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately maintains/audits department payroll documents.
Accurately and timely updates department personnel files.
Accurately completes necessary forms for personnel files and scheduling.
Efficiently purchases and orders supplies for the department.
Effectively monitors compliance of policies.
Completes and forwards all daily statistical and operational reports.
Responsible for the organization of the Hotel Sales Department offices.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years related experience and/or training preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
