Responsible for the daily administration of tasks, scheduling and problem solving related to assigned areas. Position p
rovides leadership to the hospital staff in the absence of the Department Directors and Administration.
Responsible for the coordination of care resources, problem resolution,
adequate staffing and communication to Department Directors and Administration with issues of concern.
Serves as an administrative representative for the hospital. Serves as liaison with Staff , Management and the Medical Staff.
Demonstrated professional development over time.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Computer skills preferred.
Ability to effectively implement change and manage departmental budgets.
Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations.
Minimal degree of supervision required.
years of acute care experience Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of
BSN. PALS. Management experience and one year supervisory experience preferred.
Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
