Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC) supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Systems Engineering (DASD(SE))in the development and application of the system engineering workforce development strategy to major defense acquisition programs. DRC provides advocacy, oversight, and guidance to elements of acquisition workforce responsible for systems engineering, development planning, production, quality, manufacturing, software engineering, and life cycle management and sustainment functions. In addition to providing human capital consultant expertise, we deliver highly-qualified and energetic support staff to senior government officials who require timely, accurate, and complete responses to critical issues facing the Systems Engineering community within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Human Capital Consultingfocused on design, implementation, and evaluation of strategic human capital processes covering the human capital life cycle including: human capital strategy, workforce planning, competency modeling and development; recruiting; succession planning; performance management; leadership and employee development; and employee engagement programs.
Experience in Federal or Military employee relations issues, full scope of HR business
Experience with Federal government clients with the ability to identify, understand, react to, and provide creative solutions to challenges within and specific to the DoD environment
Experience with supporting the DoD Human Resource operations
Analytical problem solver with strong self-motivation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with senior executive audiences
Experience in development of human capital plans and human resource policies and procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
Active DoD security clearance is required
Minimum travel up to 10% may be required.
Support workforce planning, competency/skill assessments, gap analyses, mitigation strategy development, adn other related actions
Support workforce development initiatives, including acquisition workforce planning and identification, training requirement identification, training information sustainment/update, training assessment, and training implementation evaluation.
Support meetings, studies and analyses related to the area of workforce development and capability assessment.
Y ears Of Experience: 10+ to 15 Years
Education: 4 Year Degree (Master's preferred) in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, Sociology, Human Resource Development, Social Work, Organizational Behavior, or a related field
