DESCRIPTION

Anticipated start date: early to mid Summer 2014

Gross Anatomy 1- An in-depth study of the human skeletal and muscular systems, regional anatomy of the extremities, and an introduction to the nervous system. Laboratory includes human dissection.

Gross Anatomy 2- The gross anatomy of the special sense organs and the nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urogenital, and endocrine systems; systemic and regional interrelationships. Laboratory includes human dissection.

DUTIES

1. Instruct Human Gross Anatomy 1 and 2, both lecture and human dissection laboratory
2. Teach other courses as assigned to reach full time credit load
3. Develop lesson plans, handouts and other course materials. Access to previously developed course plans and materials available.
4. Responsible for all preparation and delivery of course material to students.
5. Assess student learning and assignment of grades based on acceptable evaluation tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Ph.D. in anatomy preferred. Master's degree in anatomy will be considered.
2. A minimum of 5 years teaching experience, specifically in gross anatomy lecture and laboratory. 1. Instruct Human Gross Anatomy 1 and 2, both lecture and human dissection laboratory
