We are currently recruiting for a Human Relations Representative to provide Human Relations (HR) support functions related to Mylan Technologies’ recruitment and hiring procedures, delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. The successful candidate will also provide HR generalist services and support to client groups, working closely with assigned Business Partners to deliver effective and creative programs in the areas of talent management and development, employee relations, training programs, and employee focused communications.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of recruitment needs through traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas, maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR recruitment, provide recruitment knowledge and trends within the market overall and also for multinationals. The HR Representative will follow-up and coordinate with recruitment channels, provide recruitment support to management for individual business open positions, including sourcing internal and external candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating travel as needed, application management, preparation of employment offer letters and communication with candidates. As a valued team member of our HR department, the successful candidate will assist and support all HR activities to include communicating the status of the positions and current issues, developing successful business partner relationships with business leaders, providing assistance to managers and employees in employee relations matters (to include investigations, disciplinary actions and company policy interpretation) as well as demonstrate the flexibility and teamwork to address ever-changing needs within the business and HR department.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree with 0-2 years of experience in Human Relations. However, a combination of education and/or experience will be considered. Must possess knowledge of federal, state, and local employment labor laws, regulations and codes related to employment and Equal Employment Opportunity policies, general Human Relations practices, organizational development and Company policies and procedures. Must possess strong oral and written communication and relationship building skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations. The ability to prioritize tasks and assignments is key for success in this role. Additionally, working knowledge of common office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, Visio, and navigating the Internet is required.
