The role will be responsible for administering Human Resource policies, recruitment of personnel, training and development, health and safety, labor relations, compensation reviews, and other activities needed to carry out the human resource strategies and programs.

Responsible for all Plant Safety/Environmental requirements
Maintain HRIS and other HR systems; prepare reports; analyze data
Associate benefit plan facilitator
Administer plant wage and salary policies. This includes compliance with governmental wage and hour regulations, participation in job evaluation and work measurement projects, and the conduct of local wage and benefits surveys.
Monitors employment laws to assure compliance with all current legislation.
Manages disability/workers compensation claim process; FMLA & ADA requests and unemployment insurance matters.
Conducts training programs and orientation sessions.
Conducts internal investigations; handles governmental agency claims.
Provide counsel to Managers and Supervisors on policy and disciplinary matters to assure fair and consistent application.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a business-related field required
PHR or SPHR certification would be a plus
8+ years experience in Human Resources
3+ years in a supervisory/management role
Knowledge and understanding in Safety Inspection, Training and OSHA requirements
3+ years of Labor Relations experience
Knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations
Experience with an HRIS (PeopleSoft knowledge a plus)
Experience with a Recruitment Management System
Plant manufacturing experience
Strong planning, prioritizing and organizing skills.
Strong knowledge of PC-based software including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Excellent leadership skills.
Must be self- motivated and driven.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
