As the supervisor of human resources, you will provide leadership and guidance in all areas relating to human resources and administration through the accurate interpretation of all regulatory, corporate and site policies. You will lead implementation of human resources best practices and assist management with all matters relating to human resources at the Smith Ranch and North Butte Operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Ensure continuity of all human resources programs
- Provide employee guidance in the areas of compensation and benefit administration
- Performance management
- Lead recruiting efforts, including onboarding and benefit enrollment
- Oversee site drug testing program
- Initiate and file worker's compensation claims
- Provide guidance with employee discipline and termination documentation
- Provide supervisory support for administration and accounting functions
Requirement of the position: Bachelors' degree in business, specializing in human resources with 10 or more years of relevant work experience. Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered. Strong commitment to confidentiality Assets: A professional in human resources designation (PHR). Previous mining experience. Strong leadership and communication skills.
This position is located at our Smith Ranch Highland Operation located near Douglas, WY.
